Tapping for Courage
Sometimes we need a boost of courage to step out of our comfort zones. Courage is taking action even if we feel don’t feel 100% confident. It’s learning to be comfortable being uncomfortable. When we miss out on opportunities because of a lack of courage, we often experience regret. Having a lack of courage can make us feel stuck in life, unable to move forward. In this tapping script, we will acknowledge the feelings of regret, and tap into the feelings of courage.
KC: Even though I don’t feel very courageous sometimes, I love and accept myself anyway.
KC: Even though I have missed out on opportunities to be courageous, I give myself permission to relax anyway.
KC: Even though I feel regretful about not being more courageous, I fully and completely love and accept myself.
EB: All of this regret
SE: Around not being courageous
UE: It’s making me feel like a failure in my life
UN: If only I could be more courageous
CP: Then maybe I would have better success in my life
CB: But I don’t have very much courage
UA: Sometimes I feel like I have no courage at all
TH: And then I feel regret
EB: Regret for all the times
SE: When I missed out on opportunities
UE: When I didn’t take action
UN: When I stayed stuck
CP: Because I was too afraid to move forward
CB: And be courageous
UA: It’s all very real
TH: I don’t feel courageous in my life
EB: But I fully acknowledge how I’m feeling
SE: And I give my body permission to relax anyway
UE: Because just acknowledging this
UN: Is an act of courage in itself
CP: And there are many times I’ve been courageous in my life
CB: And taken action
UA: Even though I was scared
TH: Because courage is being comfortable being uncomfortable
EB: I don’t have to be super human in order to be courageous
SE: Courage can be taking a small step outside my comfort zone
UE: One that isn’t too scary
UN: So even though I don’t feel completely courageous
CP: I know that I can take acts of courage
CB: And feel relaxed while doing it
UA: I give my body permission to be courageous
TH: And I give my body permission to breathe into this moment right now
